Still Got Questions about the SGCA Appeal before ZBA?

The issue is the permitting process or lack thereof that the Town did before granting a permit to the property at 1715 Whitney Ave.   The concern is that the Town failed to  follow its own zoning regulations for this property.  Almost any property in town can be used as a sober house.  However, our zoning regulations require a permit be issued by the Planning Commission and not the Town Planner or their office.  Parking, the Village District and the historic house are all areas that should have been reviewed by the Commission before a permit was issued.  Hope this helps answer any questions.
