Mayor’s Night Out Feb. 15, 6:30-8:30

If you have questions or concerns (about lighting the streets or Hamden Hall’s athletic fields?) or anything else, you are invited to a Mayor’s Night Out.  Here is the announcement his office posted:

Mayor Curt Balzano Leng is pleased to announce the first “Mayor’s Night Out” event of 2017. “Mayor’s Night Out” will be held on Wednesday, February 15th, from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Thornton Wilder Hall, located in the Miller Memorial Library Complex at 2900 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden CT.

The Mayor will be available for dialogue and citizen input on neighborhood as well as Town-wide issues in an informal coffee hour-type setting. The goal of this initiative is to provide greater accessibility to the Mayor throughout the community and foster a direct connection with residents. “Mayor’s Night Out” will continue to be held in various Hamden neighborhoods throughout the coming months. This primary focus of this session will be on the development of the upcoming FY17-18 Town operating budget, with opportunities for other topics of discussion.

Commenting on the upcoming opportunities, Mayor Leng stated, “I am looking forward to the continuation of the Mayor’s Night Out events throughout 2017. These events were a great success in 2016, and I am hopeful that even more residents will turn out to voice their opinions and share in friendly, community oriented discussions about the future of Hamden.”
